The Amadeus Active Acoustics system is a groundbreaking fusion of active acoustics and immersive audio, operating simultaneously to create unparalleled audio experiences. With adjustable active acoustics, you gain incredible flexibility in tailoring the acoustic properties of your space. It’s even possible to assign different acoustic settings to various sections within the same room.

At the heart of the system is the Amadeus Core, which utilizes a 3D model of the space to calculate reflections through unique vector-based algorithms. This allows for the individual manipulation of a large NxM matrix of vectors, resulting in active reflections that rival the quality of natural acoustics.

The immersive audio functionality enhances the localization of sound sources (such as actors, musicians, and playback music) across the entire stage, including depth perception, through moving sound sources around the space. This feature operates via customized Wave Field Synthesis algorithms and can integrate with DAWs, mixing consoles, or be controlled via OSC. Techniques like tagging even allow for the automation of sound source localization.
